YUGEN

Miracles, magic, & mysterious metaphors,
Intriguing paracosms although nebular,
Healing vibrations and soothing petrichor,
Traveling in realms through portals cellular,
Enchanted lakes, at a time crepuscular,
Secrets of universe decoded by ancestors,
Prove that research and belief are not always ocular,
With a meditative eye, you don't need binoculars.

A FINE FRENZY

Mr. Crimson lit the morning,
Ms. White lit the night;
Being lit by them was a fine frenzy.

Early morning greetings by Ms. Rivulet,
While treading along Mr. Ridge,
Made each dawn a fine frenzy.

Little Mr. Conifer took the lead,
Ms. Trail became my guide,
And me following them, was a fine frenzy.

Mr. & Mrs. Canine joined me,
And Mr. Shrubs welcomed me with berries;
Feeling their unspoken love was a fine frenzy.

They wait until I visit again,
I look back over my shoulder and smile,
At such memories that make even nostalgia,
A fine frenzy!

IDENTITY CRISIS PUT TO REST (Part 3)

The delusional self, until it meets itself, yet again!

Feelings ceased,
Time shrunk, and the garden was invisible.

Peace came from new sources,
Until realization struck.

Imprints of family-travels returning,
Kindling feelings of belongingness.

Old spirit returning,
Comforting the soul.

Familiarity igniting restlessness,
Yet welcomed warmly as an old acquaintance.

Faintly recognizing the self,
Sparks of anxiety sparkle the imagination.

Lopsided uncanny smile returning,
On finding blissful solace in introverting.

Yet again, the being is connected with nature,
Inner callings whispering in tranquil silence.

Again, risk seems thrilling,
As if, essential to feed the soul.

Caving in; replying laconically,
Brings peace.

Calm waters swirling gently like my thoughts,
And each ripple soothing the mind;

That's my introvert world,
Embracing me again.

TAKE IT AND MAKE IT BETTER

REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLE
That's how it's meant to be,
In times like today when we use and discard,
And buy things on a spree.

Do we ensure the things we buy,
Are safe in every way?
Do we check if they are eco-friendly,
Or just pollute environment every day?

At school, we used to participate,
In competitions like best-out-of-waste,
But did we learn what we needed to?
Had we learned, we wouldn't be facing the problems we face.

Before we worsen the scenario,
Don't you feel the need,
To implement the three R's,
And form a healing creed?

To be nature-friendly,
To buy only what we really need,
To take it and make it better,
And pay this issue some heed?

SAVE NATURE

Keeping aside what Physics says,
Keeping aside every law,
I still wonder who created this world,
I gaze at the heavens in awe.

Years ago everything,
Was systematically designed,
Before time flees protect nature,
It's high time we learn to be kind.

The horrific sight is not far away,
When water won't be pure,
Over water might be fought, the next world war,
Don't pollute or waste it anymore.

By snatching forests from animals,
We want to build our homes,
We are disturbing the ecology,
Destroying entire biomes.

The trees that used to hold the earth,
Have lost their very own roots,
We must plant them to where they belong,
And one day our efforts will bear fruits.

Imagine then, how life on Earth would be,
With animals and trees restored ;
By respecting every living creature,
We and nature will be in accord.
