Pangong Tso | June 2017

With silty sand underneath the feet,
And salty waves reaching out sometimes,
The mountains observe the travelers tweet,
And shrug at the shifting paradigms.

Embracing Pangong Tso they sit,
Making me feel protected too,
As I stand on the shore of the lake,
Looking at its shades of green & blue.

Like scooping a fistful of grainy particles,
And letting them slide from the hand,
I collect my thoughts in that one moment,
And then let them all disband.

With not even a single thought left,
Speechless I sit for hours,
And listen to the healing sound of the waves,
While building stone & pebble towers.
